This ORANGE HIVE set of fifty-four cards designed for early readers who are learning to recognize  words in print and by sound. It includes three discussion questions and twenty-five words assoicated with botanical and ecological images.
 
HIVE is a multi-dimensional, thematic memory and matching game with supplemental discussion cards designed to develop environmental literacy of students. They supplement DIGS curricular units and can be used in classrooms, libraries, as a part of after-school programming, or for individual children at home.
 
The cards can be used as a memory and matching game, as a part of scavenger hunts, and part of group activities. The set comes with an easy to open and close and durable box for storage.
